Specimen Type: Breast Tissue Aspirate

Collection: 30ml ThinPrep CytoLyt Solution

Transport: Avero Diagnostics Large Gynecologic Specimen Kit

Stability: Must be kept between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Specimen will remain viable for 8 days.

Unacceptable: Specimen Container must be secure to ensure proper fixation. Ensure the lids to the vial is tight and that all specimens are returned inside the biohazard bag and then in the kit for proper shipment. If the specimen is delivered outside of temperature range or if the vials are leaking we will reject the specimen.
