Dr. Trae Mattison received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. His areas of expertise in Breast and Genitourinary Pathology were developed during his Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as an understudy of world class breast pathologist, David Page, MD, and Urologic Pathologist, Scott Shappell, MD, PhD.

His education also includes an Internship and Residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX and Bachelors of Arts in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a founding partner and Director of Anatomic Pathology of Avero Diagnostics, Lubbock, TX.
